The studio perspective

The idea and its decisions

Casa Bruma begins with a living room facing an open horizon. The proposal arranges the interior around conversation, allowing the landscape to remain present even when nobody is looking directly at it.

A low sofa keeps the view open above its back. A timber lounge chair introduces a more intimate scale and establishes a second place for reading. The central table brings the seats together; the space around it matters as much as the object itself.

Continuity between stone, plaster and textiles softens contrast. Walnut and a dark ceramic vessel add depth without making every object a statement. Matte finishes are chosen for the way they receive daylight, rather than for how brightly they might shine in a photograph.

To develop this idea for a real home, we would study orientation, circulation and everyday needs before choosing furniture. Casa Bruma is an open aesthetic direction; a final proposal would respond to the client’s own space and budget.
